The name of our blog, Kazira, is derived from the word kazi (Swahili for work).
Kazira boldly and audaciously aspires to impart corporate, workplace, and global wisdom, best practices, and knowledge to graduating college students. Our goal is to help the soon-to-be professionals gain a competitive advantage in their respective workplace by means of acquiring knowledge and skills that are beyond what they are taught in the undergraduate curriculum.
We strive to meet these objectives by leveraging our team's deep, global, and diverse experience working in public, private, federal, and non-profit settings, and sharing the lessons we have learnt with you. As and when appropriate, we will also post book reviews as well as point you to worthy references from business as well as career related publications. We will present tools, approaches, FAQs, lessons-learnt, and anecdotal evidence to reinforce and ground our thoughts and ideas.
